Booking your flights
Arrival
Race participants are encouraged to arrive in Nairobi Kenya no later than 12:00pm on 13th June 2025. There are daily direct flights to Nairobi from Amsterdam, London, Paris, Barcelona, Newark/NYC, South Africa and/or Dubai.
Departure
On Saturday June 19th participants will be dropped off at Holiday Inn Two Rivers at 1830hr (approx.)The earliest possible flight out would be 19th June at 2200hrs (this will be tight but it is possible) However play it safe and leave later, a lot can happen on the roads.
Accommodation: We’ve partnered with HOLIDAY INN TWO RIVERS to offer great deals for racers.
Negotiated Rates at the Holiday Inn Two Rivers
Race participants are encouraged to stay at the “Holiday Inn Two Rivers” hotel in Nairobi. MGR has negotiated a special rate of Single Standard room US $140 or a Double/Twin Standard room US $160(we know they offer $120 on their website, but it’s false advertising designed to lure in tourists and the real, non-MGR rate would actually be $180).
Room Rate includes:
• Buffet Breakfast in the main Restaurant
• WIFI access in guest rooms and public areas
• Access to the Gym and outdoor swimming pool
• Inclusive of 16% VAT, 10% Service Charge and 2% Training Levy). *Taxes are government controlled and are subject to change without notice relative to statutory policies.
Pick up and drop off for the MGR will happen at Holiday Inn Two Rivers. Race participants who do not stay here must arrange to be at Holiday Inn no later than 06:30 (AM) on 14th June 2027.
