Entry Package Information

BUILD YOUR TEAM BEFORE YOU REGISTER

Competitive MGR entries are for teams of three or four riders. One rider should act as the Team Captain and create the team during registration. The remaining riders then join that team using its exact name or invitation code.

Your team is not confirmed until at least three riders have completed registration and payment. A fourth rider may be added before the published roster deadline, subject to capacity.

If you do not have a team, you may:

  • register for the non-competitive individual experience;

  • use the rider-matching option to look for teammates; or

  • wait to register until your team is ready.

Race Management does not guarantee that every rider in the matching pool will be placed on a team.

Before checkout, every competitive rider must confirm:

  • team name;

  • Team Captain;

  • names and email addresses of all known teammates;

  • competitive category, once categories are confirmed;

  • Leopard course selection;

  • acceptance of the Race Rules, waiver and tracking/GPS-data policy; and

  • emergency, medical, insurance and dietary information.

Short registration note

Registering alone does not place you in GC. Competitive teams require three or four fully registered riders by the roster deadline.

The Backpacker Entry
